Trilyte Preparation

The day prior to your colonoscopy, starting at 7AM in the morning until midnight before the procedure, drink an unlimited amount of clear liquids. DO NOT EAT or DRINK ANYTHING AFTER MIDNIGHT. Resume drinking liquids only after the procedure.

• At 4PM begin drinking THREE (3) liters of TriLyte (with flavor packets).
  You should have received a written RX for this product.
• At 8PM take FOUR (4) DULCOLAX TABLETS (the overnight laxative).
  This laxative can be bought at your drug store/pharmacy without a prescription.

One to two hours prior to leaving home for the procedure, give yourself ONE (1) DULCOLAX SUPPOSITORY.(this is also over the counter and is a laxative, not a stool softener).
